Breton dreams of the day when they'll allow him to stand in boiling lava instead.

This made me laugh out loud. My kids looked over to see what the joke was and I tried to explain it to them, but they're 7 and 3 and they soon became bored. I was all waving my arms and getting passionate and they'd gone back to their cartoons.

You tried to explain the link between surrealism and the Inevitable Socialist Revolution to a three-year-old??

Eh, children are all decadent counter-revolutionaries anyway.
